Office of Inspector General Report: Improved Oversight of States' Use of New Hire Tools Would Help Reduce Improper Payments

Abstract

This publication reports findings of the U.S. Department of Labor Office of Inspector General's audit to determine if states effectively use the National Directory of New Hires (NDNH) and the State DIrectory of New Hires (SDNH) to reduce improper payments occurring when claimants o return to work but continue to collect benefits.
