Still out of Work: Examining and Addressing Long Term Unemployment in New Jersey

Abstract

This publication reports on long-term unemployment in New Jersey since the Great Recession, and includes profiles of the unemployed in terms of education, gender, race, and age. The report also examines reasons for long-term unemployment, outlines the challenges this population may face, and explores strategies for assisting long-term unemployed job seekers.
