Unemployment Insurance Program Letter No. 28-20, Change 1

Abstract

The purpose of UIPL No. 28-20, Change 1 is to inform states regarding (i) the availability of additional funding and how to apply for the funding to cover administrative expenses and solutions that can be used to support the identity verification or validation of PUA claimants; (ii) to assist with efforts to prevent and detect fraud and imposter claims resulting from identity theft in the PUA and PEUC programs; and (iii) to recover fraud overpayments in the PUA and PEUC programs.
