Abstract

This report is the product of the Better Employment and Training Strategies Taskforce (BETS), a coalition of more than 40 leading practitioners and experts working to modernize workforce policies. The coalition's workforce development group presents recommendations here that are aimed at informing the Biden-Harris administration and Congress on issues and policy options related to unemployment insurance, workforce development, job quality, youth employment, and federal jobs initiatives.
