Abstract

While many companies and governments are interested in increased data sharing, the process is currently time consuming and can pose great risk. This report argues that governments must lead the way by re-evaluating laws that limit sharing of data, and must embrace new technologies that could allow the private sector to receive some value from many sensitive data sets.
