Abstract

The article explores the challenges of income verification during emergencies and suggests the development of a document management system. This system would include a document uploader, file processing, and workflow automation, making the verification process more efficient for both claimants and staff. The prototype emphasizes mobile-friendly design and proposes further steps for the Department of Labor to develop and pilot the system with states.
