Catching Up with the TANF Data Portal Project

Abstract

The Administration for Children & Families� Office of Family Assistance has collaborated with 18F to develop a modern data portal for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), replacing the outdated system. This initiative aims to enhance the data reporting process, elevate data quality, provide insights for improved policies and programs, and ultimately benefit low-income American families receiving TANF support. Office of Family Assistance leaders share insights into the ongoing progress of this project.
