Sometimes Good People Make Bad Decisions

Abstract

This five-minute video is for new claimants. It was produced for use: during the online claims process; for in-person claims filing at local GDOL career centers; on social media sites, such as Facebook and YouTube; and on GDOL-produced Jobs TV. It is an engaging approach to help claimants understand the need to be able, available, and actively seeking work, and to report earnings, as well as to comprehend the consequences of not following UI rules. The video has been produced as part of Georgia's GUARD (Georgia Unemployment Alert/Ready/Defend) Against Fraud Initiative.
