Abstract
This publication examines the adjustment to involuntary unemployment of older (age 50+) and prime age (age 30 – 49) UI claimants. Using data on UI claimants in a large, industrialized Midwestern state, this paper examines patterns of reemployment, earnings, and employment stability following job loss.
